Get your flu shot
Don’t wait. Get your flu shot today.
Stop the flu from spreading
The flu can make you and your family very sick. Fight it by getting a flu shot every year.
Almost everyone can get a flu shot. Flu shots are available for:
- Children ages 6 months or older
- Pregnant women
- People with serious health conditions
- Healthy adults
- The elderly
Flu shots are given at no cost to you
Just call your primary care provider (PCP) to schedule a flu shot. Adult members can view our online pharmacy search for a list of retail pharmacies in our network. Make sure your local pharmacy is giving flu shots before you go.
You may need a pneumonia shot too
Pneumonia is very serious. You should get this shot to protect yourself if you:
- Smoke or have asthma
- Are over age 65 (adults over age 65 may need two kinds of pneumonia shots)
- Are an adult or child with certain conditions (lung disease, sickle cell disease, HIV, spleen issues)
Ask your doctor if you should have a pneumonia shot as well.
